Rashi Jamuar

Currently working as a Radio Jockey with Big Fm, Ranchi, hosting the morning prime time. I’ve worked as a marketing & communication specialist with various organizations and ad agencies, for over 18 years. Which constitutes skills like writing content, Social Media Marketing, Voice Overs for ads and documentaries, anchoring, PR and branding, including living in Leh for a year and managing a resort. I think story-telling is a very powerful tool. This might not change the world but it starts a thought process, it has the power to at least start a conversation or even change the narrative. It also connects you to people and helps you encourage them to come forward and take charge of their life – especially women. I have graduated from Banasthali Vidyapith, Tonk, Rajasthan and did my masters in development communication from AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi.

I am an avid traveler and biker, having toured across the country, worked across different cities and speak in 8 Indian languages. I aspire to assist girls in my region to develop good communication skills, so they could tell their stories to the world without the fear of validation.
